Project Overview :  After production, how to predict the lifetime of a MEMS component to ensure quality?

The project objective is to study the reliability of MEMS-based components and manufactured in an industrial foundry. This study aims to develop the theoretical and experimental bases needed to create test tools. This cycling stage will be based on a reduced number of operating cycles for reasons of cost and will allow using electrical measurements to ensure a minimum life by application. For this predictive approach to reliability, it is time to define behaviors for components through theoretical basis to ensure minimum life. It seeks to ensure over time the quality of products delivered to customers through a measurable failure rate transcribed in ppm (parts per million).
